Test each mended wire with a circuit tester and battery, connected to the nearest connectors either side of the mend. Re-wrap the exposed section of the loom with self-adhesive or "clingfilm" PVC insulating tape. Put some layers between the exposed section and adjoining wires - not merely a cover over the top - then fit the loom back into the car. Reconnect all terminals and clips, then test all the electrical components involved.

In fact, it is recommended, because the IC pad pitch is just 0.5 mm, that only one solder mask opening should be used for all four pads on one side. It is also suggested, when using solder paste printing, that a laser-cut stainless steel stencil with trapezoidal walls and with a stencil thickness of 0.1 or 0.125 mm should be used. See the images below. This information should be quite helpful for a PCB layout design team.

"Scotchlok" connector The "Scotchlok" connector splices two wires together, using asharp metal blade which pierces theinsulation. This is clamped using a pair ofpliers, and covered with a plastic clip.

The outrunner is already the standard motor in laser printers, copy machines, fax machines, scanners, blue ray players, cd players, where a very precise, constant speed is needed. It is also found in model helicopters, RC airplanes and other variable speed applications where there are light weight requirements. It is totally different than all other motors.

Due to their non-standard dimensions, the oddly shaped, thin, or fragile boards do not fit properly in the reflow, component placement, or other standard processing machines. Lack of adequate support and alignment may strain, bend or damage the fragile boards as they go through the processing system. In addition, this may impact the accuracy of the process.

This prevents the damage to the PCB or components which can occur due to surface stress and splinter when separating the boards. One drawback with this method is that it may leave some unwanted board protrusions on the edges.

It’s always a good idea to minimize the length of traces carrying high-frequency digital signals. First of all, there are noise benefits: a shorter, more direct trace reduces the amount of noise that would otherwise be coupled into adjacent traces, and a shorter trace also reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) because it is less effective as an antenna. The second issue is related to transmission-line effects. Minimizing trace length is a simple way to avoid problems related to signal reflections. However, reflection is not a significant concern at frequencies in the 10 MHz range, unless you are dealing with long interconnections or a very large PCB.

The colour on the sleeve of a connector denotes the size of wire it will take. The bared ends of each wire are pushed into opposite ends of the metal-lined plastic sleeve, and squeezed with crimping pliers. There are multiple sleeves or other special connectors where a wire branches off.
