Grip the cable, connector uppermost, in a vice or self-locking pliers, so that the connector rests on top of the vice and cannot slide down the wire when soldering. Inside a bullet connector. Apply solder on the top of the connector, and let it melt and run down inside. Trim off the protruding strands with wire cutters.

In fact, it is recommended, because the IC pad pitch is just 0.5 mm, that only one solder mask opening should be used for all four pads on one side. Magnets are attached on the inside of the can that spins with the shaft .. sort of like a spinning umbrella. All brushless motors have a spinning umbrella. Inside the umbrella is a permanent magnet. It looks like one continuous round magnet. However it is more like series of magnets.

This wire is flexible enough to be used on straights, curves and hills. The vehicles are fitted with a motorised chassis and rechargeable battery which pushes the vehicle forwards via a small motor and gear arrangement, following the guide wire. The magnet offset to one side on the chassis is what activates the various additional modules (more on those later).

Brushes are used to create electrical contact to the commutator segments and when current is fed into two of the four brushes, it flows through all the loops of the armature and shoe windings and out the other two brushes. This creates a magnetic field around each loop. As the armature turns, the loop will move to a position where the current flow reverses. This constant reversal of current flow allows the armature and field coils to repel each other and spin the motor. The greater the current flowing in the coils, the greater the magnetic forces, and the greater the power of the motor.

They are usually mounted on a circuit board like a servo motor with a gear box. They spin very fast and have to be geared down like a brushed dc motor. They are different than a brushed dc motor in that they are stronger, more efficient and last longer. They can be matched to a wider variety of propellers or loads by adjusting the gearing.
